A Turn, Then Back to Me

Cleo was a little raccoon. She sat beside Mama. Her red toy tractor rolled on the dirt. Her friend Ben sat nearby. He had a little pile of leaves.

“Can I have a turn?” asked Ben.

Cleo put the tractor behind her back. Her paws held it tight.

“Mine,” she said. “Not for your home. Mine.”

Ben put a leaf on the dirt. “I want to push it.”
