Hello, Cardigan

Bea lay in bed. Her feet were warm. Mum sat by her pillow. Bea's cardigan hung on the chair. One sleeve lay on the seat.
Mum turned off the lamp. The room looked big. The chair was dark too. Someone seemed to sit there. Bea pulled in her feet. Her hands held the blanket tight.
"I am scared."
Mum held out her hand.
"It is okay to be scared. I am here."
