Nell and the Little Flower Cup

Nell the badger cub sat beside Grandpa. Grandpa set his flower beside her. Nell touched its soft petals.

“Some water for my flower,” said Grandpa. He set down a little flower cup. Nell rubbed its bumpy handle.

Her toy truck stood by her paw. Nell pushed it across the floor. She put the flower down. The truck rolled over it. Nell kept playing.

Grandpa came back. “Is your flower in water?”
