Nell's Little Push

Nell had little lambs on her night clothes. She sat on her bedroom rug. Her toy cars waited by the ramp. Nell put a red car at the top. Down it went. Then came the blue car. Nell clapped her hands.

Mum sat beside her. She put a new toy bus on the rug. Nell touched its square front. "No. Too square. It can't roll." Nell pushed it away. Her lips pressed tight. She held her red car.
