Nico and the Blue Sail
Ages 2–32 min read
Nico sat on his bedroom rug. His duckling pajamas had soft feet. Grandma sat beside him. His new wooden puzzle lay between them. Grandma put a round piece into its hole.
Nico picked up the chunky wooden boat. It had a blue sail. He pushed it sideways into its hole. It would not go in. He pushed harder. The boat stayed up.
Nico shoved the puzzle away. His hands squeezed tight. His mouth turned down.
“I can't do puzzles.”
Sleep tight.
