When the Thunder Was Inside

Ages 3–75 min read

Lior was having a thunder day.

It hadn't started that way. The morning had started okay. But by the afternoon, the thunder had crept in — through his ears, through his shoulders, into his chest — and now it filled him from his toes to the top of his head.

The block tower fell over. That was when the thunder got loud.

"It's RUINED!" Lior shouted, and he kicked the blocks, and the kick made his foot hurt, which made the thunder even bigger. He sat down on the rug and put his hands over his face. The crying came in big, hiccuping waves.

Sleep tight.
