Lottie and the Little Library Table

Lottie sat beside Grandma at the little library table. They had a board book open between them.
“A duck,” said Lottie.
“And three ducklings,” said Grandma.
Lottie touched each little duckling with one finger. Then she turned the thick page.
“I’m putting our old books back,” Grandma said. She picked up their pile and stepped around the shelf.
